| 4.0 excellent | Chino smoking it up! | September 24th 20 | Somehow I put this in the line of acts like Cryptic Shift. It felt very proggy despite the thick crust OSDM aesthetics. Sure its more slimey..I find Cryptic Shift a little classier but damn this slays too.

| 3.5 great | GamamJ | August 31st 20 | More awesome proggy OSDM from VoidCeremony. Not a huge fan of the drum-sound specifrically, but the freetless bass, time-signature wankery and guitarwork is just amazing.

| 3.5 great | Check Pyrrhon (they/she) | July 22nd 20 | I really like how the fretless bass was originally used for jazz as an extension of the upright bass, but is now primarily used
by death metal geeks.

| 0.0 | Your own inadequacies have twisted your mind into a pretzel that needs a bit of salt. | July 21st 20 | Solid DM release that veers a little too close to Cynic, Death, or Atheist for my comfort, but VoidCeremony still show tons of chops. The bass is absurd, the drums approximately 67% as masterful as Ulcerate's Jamie, and the general prog noodling is cohesive with the rest of the sound. This record is the definition of near perfect execution of an unfortunately derivative idea.

| 4.5 superb | Assemblage | July 8th 20 | This was a pretty fresh first listen. The "four" is strong with this one. Got some sticky Cynic
bass that pops up and a grimey instrumental cut on track 4. Kinda a combination of where the
cavern tech-death is going with some sludgey stops in the middle, but also a raw osdm layery
substance on top. Like a sweet marmalade biscuit. This may get jumped up to a 4.5 in time because
this is a top contender for one of the most favorite and memorable listens of the year so far.
Maybe a track too short, cause its over quick and I definitely wanted to hear more of what it was
selling.

| 3.5 great | Inoculaeted | July 2nd 20 | A pretty adventurous helping of progressive death metal in the vein of Horrendous (whose guitarist/vocalist did mastering and mixing). The fretless bass noodling here is top tier. It?s the right kind of weird.
