2.5 average | Dissonant | July 4th 18 | Yeah this sucks, but is it really that surprising? This band has never taken music seriously, and this album is essentially the icing on the cake. At least Hooray for Boobies was honestly pretty creative, albeit at times musically stale. This record is just balls, first off there are only 11 tracks, and a good handful of them are totally worthless skits. 'FUCK', 'Im the Least You Could Do' and 'No Hard Feelings' are the only good tracks on this record that save it from being a total abomination, the rest is ass.

1.5 very poor | Jared Floryan | November 29th 14 | Bloodhound Gang was in their prime back in the late 1990s; some may disagree, but their off-color humor mixed with Jimmy Pop's clever lyricism and the overall alternative-oriented direction the band took with their music was always a bit of fun. Until the announcement of another record seemingly promoted by "Chew Toy" and "American Bitches", BG was practically guaranteed all but dead when they put out Hefty Fine. The morbidly obese man on the cover is one thing, but many of the tracks here feel horrendously dated and harness ideas done about a kabillion times better; not even Jimmy's usual charm or the appearance of Ville Valo on "Something Diabolical" helped matters. And while the album isn't a complete bust - if "Ralph Wiggum" and the ridiculously catchy "Foxtrot Uniform Charlie Kilo" feel like striking a conversation - the bad tremendously outweighs the good during Hefty Fine, this band's fourth full-length offering.

4.5 superb | NoHardFeelings | April 24th 13 | This is probably one of the catchiest albums I know of, and for good reason. Although each track is power-chord driven and fairly simple, they are incredibly fun and easy to listen to. 'Balls Out' is a musically destructive, moshpit centered song that is a fantastic opener. Other somewhat "serious" songs like 'I'm the Least You Could Do' (pure piano rocking ear candy) and 'No Hard Feelings' are both amazingly fun songs and perfect for summer. My only real complaint though is the lack of songs. They would have been better off throwing away those nauseating "skits"

4.5 superb | barosjn | June 21st 06 | No doubt about it, this was 2005's funniest album. It might have only consisted of nine songs and three skits, but the skits were short enough to not be too lame and most of the songs were superb for a comical band who haven't made an album in five years. Their trademark techno can be found in songs like "I'm the Least You Could Do", "Uhn Tiss Uhn Tiss Uhn Tiss", and "No Hard Feelings" and they put their old punk rock music back in action thanks to "Foxtrot Uniform Charlie Kilo", "Ralph Wiggum", and "Pennsylvania", but this band also step into new territory with the nu-metal parody "Balls Out" and the gothic rap of "Something Diabolical". Even though the album's called Hefty Fine, it's worth every penny.
