Easily my favorite Sigur Ros album. I feel like I'm instantly transported and present for the funeral
of the eldest fairy of the glass forest. His soul makes a visual escape into a slow whirlwind of
sparkles.

To me this is The Shape of Brutal Death Metal to Come. Very chaotic, jazzy, and technical all well still maintaining a strong groove throughout. The vocals are impossible to understand and really fits the madness of the music. I love the production too, just muddy enough, heavy, but I can hear everything. This is what I imagine going on the concrete slide at Action Park is like in audio form.

techy brutal does an interesting thing, cancels out most of the momentum destroying slams of brutal, but then also the brutal puts a stop to most of the prog hashing tech would induce, and so you get a brutal album with a bit more variety that doesnt turn into techdeath hogwash, better but also not rly bdm its still bdm

Deafeated Sanity?s flair for Jazz is once again very present, even if this album stays in mostly Brutal Death conventions. One of their better records,, combining twangy walking bass (which is very high in the mix, thanks guys!) lines with mostly butal death metal riffage and drumming. The 2nd side crushes the first, as the record takes some time to get going. In fact, until the last 3 tracks, a pretty weak album.
