2.0 poor | PSM | February 10th 10 | All I can say is that the drum sounds are so horrendous that it made the album unlistenable. How they even began to think that drum sound was anything but disgraceful is beyond me. I heard the intro to the first song and went "YES, this is gonna kick ASS!!!", and then the second those drums hit, I went "OH MY GOD...what happened and WHO thought that was a good idea?!"
I honestly haven't gotten past the first two tracks because I can't listen to those drums. They're so bad I can't focus on anything else. They're like when you see a really ugly, deformed person in a room and no matter how hard you try to focus on other people, your attention just keeps getting pulled back.

3.0 good | tripleb2k | February 10th 09 | Thornley returns with another sub-par album. Ian will never return to his Big Wreck success but that doesn't mean he won't stop trying. With 5 years between his last album, he returns with nothing new to offer. I really enjoy Ian but this album was a disappoint. Is it still considered a sophomore slump when Ian's been in another band? regardless it's an okay album from an artist with great untapped potential.
