| 3.5 great | dannooo28 | June 5th 20 | A bit disappointed initially, not many riffs or instrumentation in general stood out to me. I think there were a lot of moments that were supposed to stick in my head like 80% of the clean hooks but they just failed to do so. Opinion may change, but for now I'm digging Never Here, Kill The Ache, Origin and Better Days.

| 4.0 excellent | J3wFro69 | June 5th 20 | With the singles being by far the weakest songs of this release, the rest of the album shows some experimentation that I wasn't expecting. I think a lot of people won't necessarily like the change of direction from the heavier sound, but I think it suits what they were going for in this instance

| 3.5 great | Trey STAFF | January 13th 23 | There isn't anything really special about these guys as far as innovation or crazy musicianship or whatever, but they do play with a level of conviction that is second to none. The Way it Ends is semi-aggressive metalcore that incorporates electronics, a fair level of atmosphere, and a decent amount of clean vocals. Again, that's nothing out of the ordinary for this spectrum of metalcore, but it is definitely very well done. Almost the perfect blend of heaviness, catchiness, and atmosphere within the metalcore genre.

| 4.0 excellent | ajcollins15 | June 10th 20 | The four-piece Australian metalcore band has finally released their sophomore record and for me, it is stronger than their last record, but they are still stuck in the same sound. The whole album is a great rush of guitars and drums. The screams are crushing in the best way possible as well. This is a great metalcore album in today?s day and age. However, there is nothing new here that hasn?t been done before. They do the sound extremely well, but it?s nothing new and that is the biggest complaint I have with this record.

| 3.0 good | Your own inadequacies have twisted your mind into a pretzel that needs a bit of salt. | June 8th 20 | I don't like to be too precise with ratings given that my perceptions of album tend to fluctuate over time (like most people's do). This record, however, seems like it'll earn its trade in the middle 3s. The record is decently executed modern metalcore, but doesn't balance its clear strengths (harsher passages) with weaker areas (cleans). I'm not excited.

| 3.0 good | mthilliard | June 5th 20 | Much weaker than I Let The Devil In. I left disappointed because it seemed like with Poverty of Self they found a good niche.

| 3.5 great | BallsToTheWall | June 5th 20 | I loved all four singles and the rest of the album didn?t disappoint. Some Katatonia like melancholy going on the other songs which is pretty dope.

| 5.0 classic | Masha2k | June 5th 20 | I had my doubts because only one out of the four singles were above average for me. Just finished this and i got to say the rest of the album was ******* banging!
