It is a really good blackened death metal album, it has a perfect runtime, nice riffs and production. And bonus point for those Immortal-vibes.

Really fucking good, and certainly an improvement over the already stellar debut. Providence sees Ulthar take what they had in their debut, strip most of the punk, and focus solely on a weird amalgam of Black and Death metal centered around a quirky atmosphere and amazing technical riffs. Love it. The big downside was variation, as most of the songs are very similar, and the only real different feature on here is the clean intro to Undying Spear.
