This is such a treat for fans of Lordian Guard and Warlord! The songwriting feels as if it comes straight from Bill Tsamis' drawer. For those who aren't familiar with the aforementioned bands, Black Sword Thunder Attack play a brand of epic heavy metal with a very dreamy atmosphere and minor melodies. The guitars are in the forefront but the keyboards play a very significant role. The vocals might be a deal-breaker for some, but they are really important in creating this dreamy/obscure atmosphere. If these guys manage to create an LP as engaging, we will be up for something really special.
