4.5 superb | charlopiano | June 16th 21 | Honestly is there a better album to chill to? Thundercat's incredible groovy bass works superbly well with his falsetto'd voice. It's just so nice to hear, goddamn.

4.5 superb | chilledpunkrock | April 3rd 20 | I wasn't expecting an album that had Dragonball Durag and a Zack Fox feature to be genuinely heartbreaking. Rest in peace Mac.

3.5 great | Erwann S. EMERITUS | April 3rd 20 | This is ?, a groovy and laid-back record for the (happy) end of your summer evenings. Mastering the interludes once again, it's almost a shame the album isn't a huge continuous flow of funky bass.

5.0 classic | Check Pyrrhon (they/she) | December 31st 20 | Manages to take everything that made Drunk a masterpiece and condenses it to just over 30 min. Thundercats albums are
so full of life; theres always room for songs about love, identity, depression, loss, and fucking in a Dragonball Durag.

3.5 great | Valixous | April 11th 20 | Mmm, chill. Easy listening, it does lack engagement, you don't really get sucked in, but the melodies and grooves float past easily enough. Good background music.

3.5 great | ajcollins15 | April 7th 20 | A new release from the bass enthusiast and nu-jazz ?expert? Thundercat, is everything that I have enjoyed about his previous releases, but also everything I haven?t liked about his past releases. I shouldn?t say it like that though because Stephan does take some steps forward on this project that I am glad to see. For instance, this is a much more focused and narrow record than his last (37 minutes, 15 tracks compared to 51 minutes and 23 tracks). However, there are still tracks that are so thin and weak that I would either wish he did more with them or cut it from the tracklist. However, the songs that do stick the landing really stick the landing. Especially when he brings in other artists to sign with him or help with instrumentals (i.e. Childish Gambino, BADBADNOTGOOD, Ty Dolla Sign, etc.). Still a funky listen and solid release, but wish he would come together with a more solid sound style then he has continued to present.

3.5 great | IsildursBane44 | April 3rd 20 | An improvement on "Drunk." The pacing of the album, and length are noticeably better. Still maintains the silly lyrics and groovy bass breakdowns, but feels easier to listen to because of the runtime.
