Derivative riffs, uninspired drumming, repetitive lyrics and themes, and an unwavering adherence to standard song structure lead to an album that is forgettable and easy to pass up on. There is still that weird, unnatural sound to Ahren's vocals in the choruses, though his singing is a bit more interesting in the verses. Joel really shines on the latter half of this album, but is dragged down by the apparent lack of talent of the rest of the band.

Been a fan since the beginning. Only had one listen so far and it had some nice moments. Soak Me In Bleach is one of their better songs of the past 5 years.rMy biggest gripe is the production (the drums sound so manufactured). Plus, they released the closing track as a single which I consider a cardinal sin, and on top of that it's probably the worst and most generic song they have ever written. One thing this band does usually do well is the closing track so that was disappointing.

chasings ghosts was their last decent album. everything else after that album is just the same

Ive heard it all before. Rinse and repeat rFirst four rtracks are decent, middles fucking awful and the ending ris just the same shit with another layer of paint.Born to rlose has a nice heavy riff and break down but its rrepeated all throughout the song and isnt expanded on.

stay mad alamo, at least BMTH TRIED to do something different with MTLT..., what can you say about
this? This is just the same awful formulaic horse shit that The Amity Affliction have been doing
for the past 10 years that they so almost escaped with Misery, only to be dragged back in out of
fear of being called 'sellouts' by tweenagers that only listen to metalcore
