Aeromantic, the new album by 80's influenced rock side project of Soilwork and Arch Enemy members - The Night Flight Orchestra. There are plenty of ear worm songs on this album that you will just find yourself humming along to and singing the words to! From arena rock anthems to rock ballads. A great production means all the elements get their time to shine. From the amazing clean vocals and female backing vocals, to the guitar riffs & solos, keyboard & synth work, bass and drum work. It is all easy to identify in the mix. Guitar is a definite stand out for me, each song has it's own catchy, groovy 80's sounding riff, with a great bass line complimenting it. The downside of the album is it could have done with trimming a couple of the less memorable tracks as it clocks in at just under an hour. If you enjoy cheesy rock, this album is for you and makes a refreshing change to the metal in my playlist. Standout tracks to check out: Divinyls, Curves, and If Tonight Is Our Only Chance.
