I'm not so much bummed by the poor songwriting or the awful production, but by the fact that this album lacks any character or soul. Ozzy could have collaborated with Gus G or Zakk Wylde, but instead relied on someone who has worked with Justin Bieber and Post Malone. In addition, some of the guest appearances are downright awful as well. Anyway, the respect towards Ozzy is granted but considering that this might be his last LP, this is not the way to go.

An unexpected and fairly solid release from Ozzy. Is it his best album? No. Is it still an enjoyable hard rock album that you would expect from Ozzy? Yes. A lot of the lyrical content revolving around his own mortality and the legacy he will leave behind. Some odd collaboration choices that range from working surprisingly well: Elton John's piano and vocals on title track Ordinary Man. What doesn't work so well - the Post Malone and Travis Scott tracks. It's A Raid being a decent trashy number let down by auto tune and poor production. The highlights overall on this album being the drum work from Chad Smith and the bass of Duff McKagan. The guitar work from Andrew Watt is ok, good riffs, but for me the solos leave a lot to be desired. Ozzy's vocals are pretty good all things considered, but as already stated can sometimes seem too auto-tuned. rStand out tracks to check out: Under the Graveyard, Ordinary Man, and Scary Little Green Men.

really pleasantly surprised by this. this is a reflective record on someone knowing their imminent time is coming, but that does not mean they are any less afraid. not to mention Ozzy gives a solid vocal performance throughout

This was pleasantly surprising. It exceeded my admittedly low expectations. However, I think how this album will ultimately be remembered will depend on whether or not Ozzy releases anything else afterwards. As it is, this would be an extremely poignant conclusion to a legendary career. If Ozzy goes on to record and release more new music, that would only serve to cheapen the lyrical themes found here.

Sounds like Ozzy went to the local bar to get a guitarist to make the album. It's sad that most likely his swan song came out so ordinary.

really enjoying this. always good to hear Ozzy, even if there is some studio assistance. Didnt think I was going to like the collaborations but they really worked well.

The songs in the middle of the album are all really good jams, but the rest is below average. (Especially "Straight to Hell" and "It's A Raid" were extremly awful compared to the others.) The album is a very mixed bag, quality-wise. The title track, "Under the Graveyard" and "Eat Me" are showing Ozzy still got it and are outstandingly good, but on the other side most of the other songs are screaming the opposite: they're boring, and the enormous amount of auto-tuning makes them kinda irritating to listen to. I'm still giving a 3.0 to the album, because it is pretty strong output from a 71 old man and, as I mentioned, the songs in the middle are all great hits and personally I can see myself jamming those a lot in the future. Hats off, Prince of Darkness, and best wishes. Ozzy still rocks m/

The album is weak, the ozzy voice is very strange, like artificial, elegant in the studio and quite clearly ...rMax. 2.5 rating. Ozzmosis has a rating of 3.2 ... is like a revelation compared to a new album. I think he shouldn't have made a new album .. It's suffering.
