4.5 superb | jcfiasco | September 14th 09 | great cd but i agree with the sentiment that mr. stewart is trying a little too hard. The other songs released on his myspace (original verison of crosses, to hell in a handcart, razorblade smile etc.) were all much better than some of the tracks that made it onto the album. All in all a great listen though, I can't get enough of it.

3.5 great | YouAreMySilence | December 23rd 08 | It is overdramatic, overproduced and tries too hard but you cannot deny it's elegance. Most of the songwriting is fantastic and the vocals are very impressive but what ruins most of the songs is the lack of subtlety. The album is saved by an appearance by none other then Rody Walker (Rhoad The Choad) in the albums best song This Love. This Love shows that Chad Michael Stewart can be incredibly moving with just a piano, guitars and his voice minus the overdramatics.
