One of the earlier hardcore/horrorcore albums. The influence on other bands, especially thrash metal is easily diagnosed upon 1st listen. Most of the songs are incredibly fast paced, full of energy, pounding kick drums, evil guitars and references to 70's B Horror Movies. The album is somewhat devoid of the melody displayed on earlier Misfits records, but this 22 minute album is effective for the most part. Many of the faster songs like Queen Wasp and Wolfsblood don't really standout. When the band slows down on tracks like Bloodfest, Hellhound and Die Die Die My Darling, the songs appear to be written a bit better, and they provide a nice change of pace. Great album to work out too. Best tracks: Earth AD, Devillock, Death Comes Rippin, Bloodfest and We Bite.

The album was a very good punk album. The middle of the album definitely was not as interesting as the beginning and end of the album. It occasionally had little variation but only for some of the middle songs. Still very good album that is fast and fun punk.

Classic horrorpunk band the Misfits are a far-cry from the punk scene as it exists today. Had they known how things would turn out today, no doubt they would have committed some atrocities that they describe in their lyrics upon ancestors of supposed punk artists today.

I don't really know what to say for this album. It is just stunning. Tracks one through five are all grade A Misfits songs and in my mind is the best set of five songs ever in an album. Mommy Can I Go Out and Kill Tonight is the only weak point, and Die Die My Darling is obviously a highlight.

This album may be short (running about 22 minutes), but it is truly a punk and hard rock classic. It's very murky, but still hardcore and there is not one bad track on here. Some real standout songs are Die, Die My Darling, Green Hell, Mommy, Can I Go Out & Kill Tonight, and Demonomania. The impact this CD has had on other bands may even be greater than the album itself. Slayer and many other thrash metal bands like Metallica would have been inconceivable without this short but sweet masterpiece.
