| 3.5 great | TheGreatQ | February 14th 20 | First time I?ve listened to a full album from these guys since Swan Songs. Very solid work, really liking the turn towards a heavier rock sound.

| 4.5 superb | Aenima97 | February 8th 20 | When I saw the shambolic mess of a cover, I did not anticipate myself being blown away by
this album whatsoever, I figured it was going to be another EDM-filled club "banger"
fest. Fortunately, this is the closest to a rock-driven album they've come in a long time
with metalcore influences due to Luke Holland (TWA's ex drummer) and the production of
Matt Good. Danny's vocals shine throughout this album and soar through the punchy and
infectiously catchy choruses with some nice, albeit basic guitar work. Nightmare is a
superior version of 'Dark Places' from Day of the Dead and features some heart-rending
lines from J3T and Charlie tapping into his inner Eminem persona and delivering one of
his best verses of their discography. Kellin Quinn and Benji Madden add solid features
here with 'Upside Down' and 'Second Chances' being incredible songs. The only weak link
here is 'Empire' and that's because the chorus doesn't have much substance and even then
it has a dreamlike shoegaze quality to it with the vocal effects.
+ J-Dog and Johnny having more clean vocal momentsr
+ Funny Man screaming on Killin' It
+ Most accomplished work thematically, musically and in a sense of maturity to date
+ Lyrics are surprisingly solid but nothing to be blown away by.
+ Luke Holland's drumming
+ Cohesive structure and not all over the place.
- Same corny bars are prevalent but, such is Hollywood Undead
Definite evolution and if they stay on this path, it will spell good things for them.

| 1.5 very poor | BRAman22 | February 19th 20 | Outside of a couple decent hooks this is a pretty standard radio rock album.

| 3.5 great | grizzlys54 | February 18th 20 | Surprisingly good and fun album. They drop the party till I die theme a little bit and focus on a single genre on this one.

| 3.5 great | Tristan Matheny | February 14th 20 | I used to jam these guys alot back in high school but after their third album "Notes From the Underground" I started to gravitate away, and this record is definitely their best in years.
