Album starts off amazing, gets kinda stale near the end, but I can definitely see why this is considered a classic.

His hilarious moniker aside, this is a prime example of plain good old school piano led jazz. When piano sits at the helm in a jazz composition, it somehow immediately feels more relaxed, even if the tempo is upbeat and the temper energetic. Corea's magnum opus (and it can be called such, as time has shown it to be one) is a testament to laid-back jazzmanship, even though the tunes and the groove can get nasty and rowdy.

Dude shreds away on the piano like a madman, and the drummer and bassist are no slouches either. Atonal note
choices and weird scale choices join together with polyrhythms and all sort of craziness to make a jazz
masterpiece. Every musician is madly skilled, and is not scared to show it, the bass and drum fills are incredible.
