| 5.0 classic | AtavanHalen | December 5th 08 | The language is not yours- the man sings in his native Aboriginal Australian language. And still, one feels a strong, purposeful connection with this man and his music. A voice that soars with true emphasis and stunning imagery (even when the words are not understood) leads these twelve incredible creations of music as a reclusive, quiet, blind man opens his heart and mind for the world to see.
A truly breathtaking album.

| 2.5 average | FLRTE | April 30th 14 | Ok, I was interested by the aboriginal side of things here, but the music is very much western like folk, and the lyrics of the track in english are silly and deals with "god", so overall I ended up with the feeling that this whole aboriginal thing is only marketing. I will not give high rating just based on the fact that he sings in a exotic language. His voice is great, but the songs are very random and very similar. You can find tons of folk/songwriting music way better than this, and if you want some aborginal music, seek elsewhere, I would rather call this one "brainwhashed aboriginal music", and it makes me sad. Big disapointment and absolutely not what I was searching for.
