A good, if entirely standard piece of high classical music. Being familiar with Beethoven?s best-known symphonies from before (5th & 9th), I was surprised ro hear nothing but a remarkably generic piece of classical here. Sure, hints of Beethoven?s uniqueness appear, but it?s mostly a very standard and calculated affair.

Though a bit short, this is still very good. Though as can be expected, this is very "classical" and not as natural sounding or as revolutionary as his later work. I good view of where the man who would define "romanticism" where music was concerned. 3.6/5

I love classical music, and believe it or not back in the day the most famous composers were the best in the business, unlike today. A pure joy to listen to.
