A pensive and eerie affair. I prefer the punk bombast of the first but this is still a really cool listen. Awesome band.

The album definetely lacks the punk energy from the first one. I have to say it ends pretty strong emotionaly but first part is a bit of a let down imo, creatively speaking. Maybe its a grower yeah...r

same atonal drawn-out riff is recycled on three separate songs. long plodding, with a ton of odd little details thrown in to hide a general lack of musical ideas. not much art in this art rock.

There's the same frayed wires guitar tone but so much of the explosive edge that I loved on A
Laughing Death in Meatspace is absent here. They do get loud on occasion and it's awesome when
they do, but there's also a lot of drawn-out quiet instrumental mush in there that doesn't feel
like it's building into anything. At least the backup vocals are abundant. They're the best part
about this album.
