A staggering achievement. This is everything metal should strive to be in the year 2019.

Home is a stunning achievement: melodic, technical, devastating. The vocal effects and instrumentation on songs like 'Failure (S.O.S.)' are masterful, and they deftly avoid the trap of putting technical effort above emotional delivery. When Alex Richichi roars "Storm the gates of Eden" on 'Glory' it just feels like metal, period. They have notable differences in song structure, approach, and (from what I can tell of the lyrics) songwriting, but this album feels like the spiritual descendant of Disillusion's masterful 'Back to Times of Splendour'.

Was NOT expecting this to riff and smash the whole way through, and definitely not as hard as this goes. Catchy and heavy in all the right places, equal bits tech-death and ?progressive? metal and the vocalist(s) are genuinely talented and display it on a wide yet cohesive spectrum. rJust an incredibly awesome record on the whole, actual rating like a 4.2-3

Interesting modern hybrid approach, with a striking wide vocal range. Personal highlights: Waste Away, Lovesick and Failure (S.O.S).
