Feels a bit plastic/artificial (pun not intended) at times, but that doesn't change the fact that this album is a very tightly executed prog metal release.

Uh, this is fucking incredible. Can't believe I slept on this. It's like if Stephen Christian joined a metal band. Reminiscent of a blend of The Human Abstract, Leprous, and...who knows. Short songs, constant melodies, great harmonies. Catchy beyond words. "Pulses", "Trail of Lights", and "Keep Yourself Hidden" are some SOTYs for me. Lovely.
