One of the darkest, most intelligent hip hop albums I've ever heard. Ras Kass IS the best lyricist of all time. Some people complain that the beats are lacking. Some people just have no fucking taste in music at all

Classic in terms of content. Style is irregular, but brimming with intelligence. Though the most famous track is definitely Nature of the Threat, it is not the best on the album. Sonset is by far the best track I've ever heard from Ras Kass, it captures perfectly the West Coast's attitude toward East Coast entitlement.

The beats are rather lacking but the lyrics are insane, Ras Kass can kill almost any rapper out there today. However, the beats on this album do not do him justice unlike his later work
