Unlike Minuit Machine's debut which unequivocally rooted for traditional electrowave, their sophomore album goes about the extra mile arrangements-wise. Every development in electronic music during the last 40 years has been blended with the said tradition in ways that distinguish the French duo from its peers and electrowave forefathers. Every pocket of the album reeks despair and bleakness, as Infrarouge shifts seamlessly between mainstream dance, industrial and electrowave. Favorite song: the whole album, pretty much.
