While there are some groovy riffs and Mike Terry still has a pretty voice, the whole affair just feels awkward. The production is awful and the songwriting is almost non-existent.

I particularly enjoyed this more than any other Volumes record. The first track didn't do it for me BUT, as soon as i heard the first clean vocals of the EP i felt that this one was going to be interesting. It's not a masterpiece, but it's good enough.

A step up from Different Animals in the songwriting department for sure, Myke Terry is far better utilized as well. However, the production confusingly feels a bit squashed compared to previous releases, which doesn't make too much sense because of Diego's production chops. Either way though, aside from a pretty unnecessarily long interlude track, every other track on here is super solid.
