LP2 is the sound of Jon Mess's brain exploding. Take the heaviest parts of Dance Gavin Dance and turn them up to 11. This record feels like the antithesis of newer Dance Gavin Dance material. Mess's screamed vocals are more refined than ever. His lyrics, as is usually the case, are borderline nonsensical but there is a sense of cohesion due to his impassioned delivery throughout the record.

Why, I have very mixed feelings about this album. Although the musicality is amazing, the drums and the guitars are both great, I am not a big fan of the vocals.

DGD-adjacent band does DGD with some mathcore sparkled. It's got everything stupid that DGD has, but the more techy parts were a joy to listen to (if only the production were crispier).

LP2 is a project brimming with energy and abyss, thanks to the power of Secret Band. I really liked this project, however I tend to find it quite repetitive at times, with some forgettable tracks and I would have preferred to find some tracks on a really solid EP than an entire album, yet it is still quite short
