2.5 average | Jared Floryan | December 11th 14 | It's nothing to write home about, for the most part. Plain White T's kind of live up to the name they received, so that's credit worth giving, yet virtually everything else about Big Bad World is as dull as a kendo stick resting in a volcano's destination. Does it qualify as a terrific pop rock album? You'd answer in the affirmative if you so happen to be a slutty girl idolizing the heck out of Tom Higgenson. In the main, I don't honestly think there's any wonder as to how these guys obtained some one-sided glory because of "Hey There Delilah" - a song which many can get sick and tired of after revisting just twice.

They have evolved so much from their original album, Come On Over, an album that few people know about, and it makes you wonder how they originally got signed to a record company. Their music has changed since 'Come On Over,' and through their past two albums it is understandable why they got signed. I enjoyed the album, rather upbeat although it is short, if they extended it longer the songs would probably make people lose interest.
Along with the album being great, their tour supporting this album was excellent. They sounded great live, and I also got a photo pass and meet and greet with them, and they were genuinely dorky, normal guys.
All-in-all, the album was great, not excellent, but great... still room for improvement.

2.0 poor | YouAreMySilence | November 25th 08 | The band name fits the album well; plain, almost anti creative. 10 tracks of pure averageness. I guess then I should give it a 2.5 but the blandness pisses the frig out of me. While other bands put creativity and effort into their releases while only selling maybe 500 discs, while the Hey There Deliliahs can write 10 un original radio ready pop rock songs, slap a picture of themselves on the cover and sell a million. So all in all here's a big golly gee fuck you.
