| 3.0 good | Alabaster Jones | April 22nd 17 | If you know anything about pre-OK Computer Radiohead, its that for a time there, they were a relatively straightforward alternative rock group. Even after moving in a more artsy direction on The Bends, the band were still very much practitioners of those classic alt-rock-isms that have become so cliche nowadays. My Iron Lung showcases what are essentially B-sides to The Bends, and they're pretty much just some decently made alt-rock songs that even have a slight air of eerieness to them (think "Punchdrunk Lovesick Singalong"). Decent stuff, but only really essential for hardcore fans.

| 3.5 great | Hanusko | February 25th 17 | Strong 3.5 - Probably on par with ,,The Bends''. Pretty solid transition album full of extremely solid B-sides. EP opens up with T/T, pretty memorable and well thought out piece of grungey alt.rock, eventhough I feel like this album has more to offer than this track, ,,Trickster'' and ,,Lewis'' are closest songs to ,,Pablo Honey'' type of material, but their much more complex and layered, Trickster might be the catchiest and most complex song on the whole album, Lewis isn't that great of a track considering that the song is kind of tidious, plus in comparison to this album's finer moments it is quite weak track. ,,Punchdrunk Lovesick Singalong'' is beatiful fresh song with great hook and nice airy Guitar work, sadly it might've been slightly shorter track. ,,Permanent Daylight'' is my own favorite, superior Sonic Youth-ish production, extremely memorable riff and drowned vocals, only thing this song really needed was another minute or 2 and that belongs to every little one of the last 3 songs, their way too short, even though they are the most ambitious songs. ,,Lozenge of love'' has extremely gorgeous picking and the whole guitar part of this song is just eargasmic. ,,You never Wash up After Yourself'' is straightforward ballad, with great vocal delivery and huge amount of passion. My own version of this album doesn't have Creep acoustic on it.

| 4.0 excellent | Egadd | December 17th 12 | While not as good as The Bends, this is easily one of the best B-sides collections I have listened to.

| 3.5 great | Nagrarok | September 15th 09 | My Iron Lung shows transition between Pablo Honey and The Bends, created in the days of Radiohead's more rockish era. Aside from the title track, which would later appear on The Bends, this has some seriously fantastic b-sides on it, most notably The Trickster. The acoustic Creep is one of the album's most interesting, although not entirely succesful moments, having Yorke providing more personal vocals at the cost of powerful instrumentation. Never got into anything post-OK Computer? Check this out.
