In my opinion, nothing will top their self-titled album. I keep wanting more from this band, and I think that album is why. It's fucking amazing.rWhich brings me to Paris(figuratively). It's long. It's too long, really. You could dumb this down to about 9-10, maybe even 8 songs that are worthy of being here. Of those 8-10 songs about 6 of them are REALLY good. Weather Report, Get Out Stay Out into No Parachutes(fantastic transition), Funeral, Being Human Is Weird, and Goodnight are all very very good tracks. It's the ones in between that really bother me and bring this thing down. Roma White is long and unnecessarily drawn out. Jumble Gem is forgettable. All the momentum from the opener Weather Report drifts into the soft lame that is A Message and I Saw Red. It's just kind of all over the place and the inconsistency bothers the shit out of me.rBut here it is on this list. You have to acknowledge the vocals here and the song-writing is generally very good.
