Most of the complaints I have deal with the cameras. They don't show the drummer nearly enough, even when he's seriously playing his ass off, they don't show the crowd or mosh pits or anything, and when the cameras occasionally go out of focus, it's a real eye sore. You can't hear the crowd during the few shout-alongs, which was kind of disappointing. The snare could have been louder, because you can't hear it during his blast beats.
Prequel to the Sequel obviously wasn't the same without Adam Fisher to do the quest part, which brought that part down a little, but they did a good job without him anyway. Beyond a few effects and tone issues I have during solos and the polka break, they really played everything really well. I'm surprised Tommy can keep his voice after screaming like that for 2 hours or so.
That, and the second set completely owns. They picked some of the very best songs from their backlog, and I was especially pleased to see Ad a Dglgmut and Backwards Marathon. I really wished they could have put the second set on a CD too. How great would a 3 disk set be from them, amirite?

Playing the whole album live is not an easy feat, yet this live album still sounds amazing. A few mistakes may be done, but are tolerable. The second part, playing fan-requested tracks should not also be missed.

Live performance of my favorite cd by my favorite band; what could possibly go wrong? Aside from minor nitpicks such as odd camera angles and too much focus being on Tommy and Paul. This is an amazing live dvd. Their performance of Colors as a whole, in addition to a nostalgic setlist comprised of the likes of "Aspirations", "Selkies", "Backwards Marathon", and "Mordecai", is just perfect. No messups, raw energy and emotion, and just a feat in its own to play an hour worth of music nonstop.rDefinitely recommend getting this for any BTBAM fan, it even comes with an audio cd of the Colors set.

This is the perfect live recording of one of the best modern metal bands around. All of the songs are played very faithfully according to their studio counterparts. All in all, very nice.

its between the buried and me, you can't possibly go wrong. its a great little package they put together, you get to hear them play through colors all the way from start to finish, then you have some bonus songs off of their other albums AND to top it all off a CD, the sound is crisp, the video is clear and BTBAM is here to stay.

FANTASTIC album, FANTASTIC performance, ABYSMAL camerawork. Like I am honestly shocked and super impressed that they sounded like they did not miss a note/beat. Wow! However... The cameracrew... What are you doing? Awkward angles, almost only the vocalist and to an extent lead guitarist get time, and no Blake Eichardson??? What?

There's a few issues regarding camera coverage and the lack of crowd audio (making any attempt at audience sing-a-longs fall flat), but otherwise the entire set is performed near flawlessly. The second set comprised of some of the band's very best tracks is also a very nice addition, and clearly well picked.

Colors_Live is only as good as Colors will ever be, which begs the question: Why does Colors_Live exist? Other than Tommy Rogers addressing the crowd a couple times, there are no real differences between this and Colors.

This album flows so well like Darkside of The Moon, from start to finish. I love a lot of different types of music, and Metal is one of them, but not my favorite type by a long shot. That being said, this album is in my top 10 favorite albums. It is a flawless masterpiece from Foam Born A to White Walls. I've seen them play a couple of times live and each time was incredible. This band never messes up, the transitions are spot on, the timing is ridiculous. I recommend this album to all my friends, metalheads or not. This truly is a masterpiece of musicianship unlike I have seen in awhile. It's not all about shitty breakdowns with these guys, its way more than that. This album is a must hear!!!

umm but you DO get to see them live! thats the beauty of the live dvd...
everything here is played spot on, its really chill, and there are lots of good bonus songs, yea. but, as ive expressed numerous times already, dusty is so boring and tommy's live antics are incredibly repetitive. if they improve their live performance exponentially a second time though, a future BTBAM live dvd would be fricken amazing.
