With a more diverse and less conservative approach than previous releases, Veleno is one of the band's most catchy and inspired albums to date, where songs follow each other fluidly, intelligently avoiding moments of greater saturation typical of this frenetic symphonic style. Bel lavoro ragazzi.

2019 AOTY so far. "Monnalisa" & "Absinthe" are instant classics while "Carnivorous Lamb" brings the riffs and overall heaviness. Lastly, "and then we'll be gone" is a beautiful track. The female vocalist is extremely talented. Overall an intricately melodic masterpiece with no shortage of technical aggression that defines their early material

It's catchy, not that much, but it is. On the other hand, i feel that this Fleshgod sounds weaker than the Fleshgod you'd see 10 years ago, which is pretty much sad because they really had potential back then. Symphonic elements are there, clean vocals are there (some of them are cringeworthy though), the "dramatic" and theatrical vibe is even more explicit than in the previous albums but there you go, give it a try if you like your tech-death catchy and melodic.
