Even though this is quite solid and features short and to the point songwriting, it hasn't clicked with me as much as the EP, maybe because it lacks a track with the quality of "Can You Hear the Rain". Nevertheless, it's consistently good and doesn't feature a bad song. Highly recommended to fans of In Solitude and Beastmilk.

Gothic heavy metal that's got no grit whatsoever because of a way-too-clean production and soon-annoying vocals.

I expected a really cool crossover between gothic post-punk and heavy metal, and I kinda got that? Reminds me of Killing Joke but slightly more conventionally metal. Unfortunately the songs are really samey and the singer's voice gets annoying fast.

Taking advantage of the thrust that the debut EP rightfully granted them, the Oregonians venture into their first full-length release. While Mana picks up the baton with a confident grip, it fails to fully deliver on the EP's pledge in terms of freshness and augmented songwriting diversity; vocal melodies in particular rarely stray from a predicated norm, while the production is slightly inferior with respect to the EP.
