Rather dull and disappointing for such an illustrious collaboration. The performances are fine, but the songs just aren't anything special.

This album features a mixture of classic Queen, and a bit of the new with Rodgers. It consists of the same powerful guitar Brian May was known for, and the same amazing vocals that put Freddie on the scenes; but this album also has little bass grooves and even less bursts of drums that John and Roger have done for us in the past.
Now, a lot of people say that Paul Rodgers has no where near the talent as Freddie, but honestly, who does? Paul may not be a legend, but he could still probably win American Idol.
I'm gonna quote an older work accociate here, "Freddie would be proud of this album." I would totally agree with her.

Wow the reviewer is living in the past as most all critics do. This album has Freddie all over it. The first time I heard it I thought it was Queen playing the music with Bad Company, (Paul) singing the lyrics but then after giving it a chance, (a couple of listenings) you will see the way a Queen album seeps into your psyche. I can hear everything from "Ogre Battle" guitar on ?Still Burning? to "Keep on passing the open windows" in ?Some things that glitter can be gold? and I totally disagree with the critic who says the two forces work against each other. The best song on the album is probably ?Small? which makes me think of the entire ?Day at the Races? album. It flows in an out and is a real ?Queen? song. It is funny that the second worst song on the album is what the critic says it the best. Wow, if he were a true Queen fan he would have seen C-Lebrity rates right up there with Bicycle Race which I think stunk to high heaven.
