I don't have as much love for this as others it seems, but it remains very cool, emotional hxc which to me evokes a blend of vaguely Defeater and Fall of Efrafa minus the sludge in their grandiose desperation expressed in angry fashion. Tracks are in order of enjoyment for me. 1 I'm fairly nonplussed about, 2 is great, 3 is slightly greater and an epic closer. I'd heard this ages ago, but it had not marked me all that much quite honestly sorry dedebro la bise 3.8

No Love Can Save Me may be only three songs, but each of them is literally brimming with energy, leaving the EP as a ten minute journey through the very best that emotional hardcore can offer. Each song feels almost perfect; the production is crisp and clean, the instrumentation?s clarity not being diminished in moments of chaos. Vocalist Anthony is one of the better performers you will hear from the genre; his screams are typical of the hardcore sound but fit almost perfectly with the direction of the music, be it disarray or melody that the band is aiming for. It?s a remarkably short listen, but its force is not lessened in any way by its length. A great precursor to the band?s follow up full length.

Integration of the emotional vocals and lyrics are a huge plus for this band. The chords also give this EP a big boost. Bass is fairly average but sufficient, and the Drums, while simple need to be nothing more than that.
