0.0 | istaros | September 24th 08 | very well done album by a band that should have more recognition. combines the best elements of Opeth with the few good elements expressed in Enslaved's recent prog-rock expressions, and injects a heavy dose of smooth jazz in the bass and drums. songs meander between two polar opposites of sensation, bouncing from one to the other in increasingly shorter oscillations until a resolution emerges as the instrumentation subsides. not a masterpiece, but it does manage to stand out
