The genuine passion is definitely translated into music very well here. It is indeed very comforting and heartfelt with how the psychedelic soundscapes complement the vocals. The strongest examples of this I feel are the songs "Seen A Ghost" and "Resistance". That said, it's relatively plain in terms of how explorative it appears to be. Not too many interesting musical ideas, but it's certainly not bare bones either. It does, however, bring a trippy musical atmosphere that enthrals the listener throughout the record regardless. The closing track "Ode To A Friend" definitely ties the bow on the album nicely, focusing more on the records spacey and dreamy side. Definitely one of the strongest songs on the record.r
