After the psychedelic masterpiece that was Priest Driven Ambulance, the Flips actually got a shot on a major label. This could've been a very poor choice, but instead the Flips went for a bit more of a song based record instead of a concept record. The result is their most accessible record up to this point, with a very refined, but still experimental sound. Songs such as "Hit Me Like You Did the First Time", "Felt Good to Burn", and "Hold Your Head" are perfect examples of this, by combining fun hooks and experimental noise. Basically, this is a turning point in the Flips career, as well as one of their most unfortunately underrated records.
