The apparently bluegrass Welch and her writing and performing partner David Rawlings have produced an album of intimacy and drama using only their two voices and guitars. Some of the tunes such as Elvis Presley Blues, Dear Someone, I Want To Sing That Rock and Roll are instant folk classics delivered with perfect harmonies and consummate musicianship. Take a chance, this is a genre-crossing classic.
