Awesome grunge here! It was very enjoyable. The last song on the album is definitely a little bit of twist in how it almost sounds more like punk than grunge.

Power chords hidden by ripped-off nirvana lyrics. Half the songs on this album sound the same. (body,swim,bomb) and little experimentation (for lack of a better word) or change of pace kill an already dead album.

The accessible, ass-end of grunge, sure...but a pretty great and consistent collection of songs here, though maybe a little repetitive. Even all too familiar singles such as "Comedown", "Machinehead", and "Glycerine" have a great feel to them and are difficult not to sing along with, tracks like "Bomb" and "Alien" succeed at giving the 'ol quite/loud formula quite an epic feel.

Sixteen Stone from bush is one of the best 90's albums ever IMO. "ya but its like a rip off of nirvana" exactly if you like nirvana then you like bush. Everything Zen, Little things, Comedown, Machinehead, and glycerine are exelent track. Did they impress? yes. Did they bring great music? Yes. my point exaclty

I grew up with this playing a lot, as they were one of my dad's favorite bands. Glycerine and Alien are by far the best tracks, but the singles still satisfy my butt rock needs every once in a while.

Considered rather derivative by many a critic upon its initial release, it is surprising how well Bush's debut record has held up over time. As for Rossdale's front man qualifications beyond his looks, pay a visit to Youtube for the band's impressive Woodstock performance.

Bush is one of the better grunge bands out there -- God knows we got a lot of shit from that genre -- and Sixteen Stone is probably their best album. You've probably heard the singles "Glycerine" and "Little Things" somewhere, as they're fairly popular, but this album has more to it than that. I originally just dismissed this band as one of those couple-hit-wonder bands we got a lot of in the 90's, but almost this entire band's catalog is decent.
