Honestly amazed at the amount of influences
jammed into this album. It doesn't make sense
at first, but with many listens it starts to
make sense. One of the most unique
metalcore/prog albums I've heard.

This album slays so fucking hard, front to back. An hour of straight fire. It's like mixing Dillinger Escape Plan with The Mars Volta and making it sound like a 90s rock band that's too insane for radio play, or a post-hardcore album gone wrong. So good. Every track flows together and offers something different. Vocals are distinct, strong, and memorable. Lyrics are abstract, yet vividly provocative. All instrumentals are incredibly distinct, bringing chills down your spine and flames in your mind. The drummer absolutely owns. The compositions are all unconventional, successful experiments. So strongly recommended.

It's eerie yet heavy.
i'm not sure why the "I Have Made my Bed" intrigues me so::
but it does.
and this album is an art--That many will wish they've heard sooner.

A reasonably well performed progressive post-hardcore album. It is easy to see the technical skill of the musicians, but by around the 6th or seventh track the songs started to blend together. With this and similar genres, it's understandable that it's difficult to create differentiation (seeing as the sound is already pretty hectic), but I've heard other bands do it a bit better than EAPZ. 3.2/5
