4.0 excellent | Observer EMERITUS | July 15th 23 | It's really awesome to see Opeth return to their prog-death metal roots, been a long time coming. They are a bit rusty here, but I'm excited to see where Opeth will go from here. Great comeback, for sure. It's great to see the guys doing what we all want them to do again! Finally.

0.0 | Will drunkpost less in 2024 | December 8th 22 | Most Opeth sounding record since Ghost Reveries. Sometimes these guys take it too far with "half" stolen black water park melodies but they also have some fun ideas of their own and make some solid death metal. I'm a big fan of old Opeth and nobody makes music like that anymore so can't blame them for trying. Fun listen for couple of times at least.

4.0 excellent | JasonCarne | October 30th 18 | I've heard a lot of bands get compared to Opeth over the years, but this is one of the few that manages to deliver on that claim. Neither the growled nor clean vocals quite live up to Akerfeldt's, but these guys are showing some real promise on this album, curious to see where they take this sound in the future.
