Chapel of Disease have managed to graft depth, dimension, and death metal together into a seamless package. I'm fucking here for it.

...And As We Have Seen The Storm is like if Opeth got into 70s southern rock instead of Camel. Which is to say, it's prog-death with a lot of southern twang to its frequent prog rocking sections--which definitely makes it a fun and unique outing.

Epic heavy prog metal with some death growls that nicely balances grooviness and melodies together with a top-notch musicianship (and a kinda murky production that allows the whole lot not to be too polished).

Listened to the album expecting a pure death album and got something...extra. The vocals might be death(ish) but the music definitely has a heavy metal influence and since the band is German, we could guess a couple of bands that could have influenced them. Anyway the album gives away a certain good, optimistic feeling that is quite unique for a death metal effort. I would be very interested in hearing them live. After listening this album for more than a month, I'm still coming back to it...it's hauntingly beautiful, so I had to up the rating as it's near perfection for me.
