There are one or two good songs on this one, but that's too few to warrant it a stellar rating. This feeling may change when you listen to it for enough times, though. It gets better - as opposed to Wormwood, which gets worse. This album can grow on you to become something really good.

There is something about deathcore that I find myself turning my head away from, and I can't exactly pick it out and describe it, but it completely bothers me. 'Continent' is a heavy album, based on anger and straight hate for the most part, and this is the best part about it. My problem comes in at the fact that most songs sound the same, and when I'm not in an angry mood, the songs just seem to start and end without me noticing. I don't dislike this album or band in anyway, but it's just a mood thing, and that's what brings me down here.

Great cd as well as the last release, zeuss as a producer/engineer was a refreshing change, though his work on wormwood was far superior, this album production wise is superior to their previous releases.rAnd for a deathcore band, i always find that Vincent Bennet's lyrics are far more inteligent than most of the other bands of the genre.
