A new lineup proves to be the best thing for The John Butler Trio, as Sunrise Over Sea excels in all the right areas while still remaining accessible.

This is the perfect follow up to the ground breaking, genre smashing album "three". Butler goes a little more mainstream here hit single "zebra" but he never strays far from his signature sound. On this album he has emplyed the services of drummer Michael Barker and bassist Shannon Birchall and they lock together to form one of the hardest grooving rhythm sections in the root music scene. Great album.
