A vapid, emotionless record void of creativity or worth. This is apparent rock music. For whom does the bell toll, the scene, the artist or the horde of subjugated brats who?ve lost their ability to question and deride any form of anger against the pap force fed them by the corporate marketing clones. This is an album of nothing for the betterment of nobody with the intention of becoming needless to the needy. Burn it and ignite the flame in your soul to bring back some swagger and bollocks that you?ve sacrificed in order to become just another hapless cunt who has yet to engage in the real deal.

So much better than I had ever expected it to be, but there's still quite a bit of wasted potential. Tracks such as the title track, saviour, evil, and saint range from mediocre to genuinely bad, but are outnumbered by satisfying pop bangers.

Shifting genres is always difficult for an established band. They were screaming first, then they lost the screamer, then moved on to stadium rock in 2017. The change from 2017 All these Countless Nights to 2018 Rituals is the most jarring of their sonic shifts. Rituals is a pure pop modern record that has more of a home on a dance floor than a stadium. Initially it seems like an unnatural progression of their sound but somehow they made it work. It has the same passion, same themes and relatability. A good brave record that is still Deaf Havana, just one you can share with more of your friends.rStandouts: Holy, Heaven, Saint, Epiphany

This album is a lot better than I initially thought it was going to be. There are some fantastic songs, with a handful of eh songs mixed in as well. Overall a solid album by one of my favorite bands.
