Anaal Nathrakh has always been a noisier repository of other bands ideas (we could easily hear Emperor in Obscene as Cancer or Behemoth in Mother of Satan), but despite that, the puzzle they have been building over the years has a very unique design and works well as a whole. In A New Kind of Horror they have decided to make things slightly more direct and catchy and it works quite well for me.

They're back to the groove. Free porn music, as alternative, heavy, chaotic and aggressive as pop, groovy and catchy. Much better release than the previous one. This band is not be taken much serious in order to have fun with it. Favorite tracks: Forward! and Mother of Satan (Satan!Satan!Satan!Satan!Satan!Satan!Satan!).

This is probably the most catchy and melodic thing they've ever done. Having said that, Anaal Nathrakh's music is still too noisy and exhausting for me to enjoy for more than a few songs at a time. On their own, though, just about every song is awesome.
