I'm not a fan of this type of vocals but the instrumental is too good.

Started very well, but in the end it became very samey. They had an unique touch on funeral doom, but in my opinion this album needed far more variety - especially some additional tempo changes could have looked well. Not bad though, but was a bit too boring for my taste.

The satisfying predictability of Doom, done with grace and style. Brilliant atmosphere, heavy but it can get you really chill. 2 first tracks are 5's, the other 2 like 4.5's

AOTY contender. Does everything right. Incredible amp tone, some REALLY REALLY excellent riffs, huge soundscapes, and great variation throughout the entire thing. I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS ENOUGH.

Probably the single most potent doom album to come out in 2018. Lots of variations to keep the monolithic track durations interesting, as well as some surprisingly catchy riffs. Production feels very form-fitting as well, making the beautiful moments feel all the more stunning while allowing the heavier passages to absolutely pulverize you. Not an album to miss.

If Saturnus were not Danes but from Portland Oregon, had a serious penchant for the funeral end of doom, and their idiosyncratic use of clean vocals was completely absent, they would sound like Un's sophomore album. That's not to say that Un are not convincingly aspiring to forge a personality of their own, as the post rock elements work towards that direction, whereas their initiative is more strengthened by the fact that their doom metal sounds equally "US" and "European". This is pretty nice. Haven't been that crazy about metal this year but I can already tell this one’s gonna be something special. Besides, it deserves attention for that gorgeous artwork alone!
