1.5 very poor | DWittisarockstar | July 31st 08 | Below Me has much better production and much improved vocals, but in that they lose most of what made them enjoyable in the first place. The pig squeals are gone and the vocals are a great deal less humorous. Instead of being so bad they're funny, they're just bad. The instrumentals are as simple as ever and the synths are still as annoying and grating as before. The songs transfered from S.L.O.B. are better musically, but way less enjoyable than their counterparts.
Overall, Below Me to Dr.Acula is a lot like Before The Throne of Infection was to Annotations of an Autopsy. The band is more respectable, but they aren't nearly as fun as they were before, and in that they have become much less enjoyable.

0.0 | AbyssalCreation | July 31st 08 | I quite enjoy Dr. Aculas sound but the vocals in the EP killed it for me,luckily this little flaw has been fixed.Everything remains intact from the funny samples, to the"br00tal" breakdowns, to the down right rediculous lyrics. I'm fully aware their last vocalists were just joking, but in this album the new guy has some sick highs some brutal lows AND he can still do the funny Heavy Heavy Low Low esque talking bits. All the remade songs are much better than their S.L.O.B counterparts, thanks mainly to Jamie Kings productions skills.
So in conclusion if you enjoyed Dr.Aculas EP but hated the annoying vocals, then you might still enjoy this album. However if you hated S.L.O.B through and through you'll probably hate this one too because they havent changed their sound much.In the mean time "WHY DON'T YOU GO BACK TO YOUR HOME ON WHORE ISLAND!"

More like below a 1 amirite? Shit jokes aside, this is horrible, and inconsistent.

1.5 very poor | Jared Floryan | November 18th 14 | In terms of the vocals, Below Me fares slightly better in this regard compared to the previous Dr. Acula offering, though this partycore band still insist on using tired Goosebumps references for song titles and the instrumentals smell of so much repetition that the album makes for a vastly boring listen; "Calling All Creeps" is admittedly decent, if only for the introduction of said track.

1.5 very poor | mcg182 | August 23rd 10 | This was supposed to be Dr. Acula's second chance at a good impression. They failed at making good music. The only thing they accomplished at is writing funny lyrics and making the metal community wish death upon them.
