| 3.5 great | manosg EMERITUS | November 23rd 18 | If you're up for some really good melancholic post rock with poppy elements and you're a fan of The Gathering, you will enjoy One Self. Rene Rutten is one of the most underrated '90s guitarists and his ability for creating atmospheric music is once again prevalent on here. However, the album - as Trifolium noted - is indeed samey and the vocals are one dimensional, but the reasonable duration doesn't make this one feel like a chore.

| 3.5 great | Kars Landman | December 11th 18 | Really good record, it's a bit samey but tracks like Jupiter are amazing. I hope they keep going with this project, cause with a little more variation they could produce a truly outstanding album.

| 3.5 great | Trifolium | July 6th 18 | The single, Meraki, was great. I loved the drumming on that one. Sadly, the album sounds a little same-y and the drumming isn't nearly as good as on Meraki. Additionally, the vocalist can get a little bland. Still a nice record, though!
