| 4.5 superb | jybt | July 28th 18 | If DoctorVelvet is referring to Indulge in Color ripping the intro from Black and White World,
that's totally intentional because it's a sequel to that song. You seem so much of an expert on
this band that you would probably know that they've done this many times before on purpose. Like
many other prog bands do. So why single Redemption out to give them a 1.5 rating?
This album is pretty spectacular, by the way.

| 3.5 great | MaidenUFO | July 5th 21 | Redemption is one of the best and most consistent progressive metal bands. Ray Alder's departure and the replacement by Tom England of Evergrey is very interesting, as both are two of my favorite performers in the metal scene. It's an enjoyable and very good album and my favorite songs are: " Impermanent", "Someone Else's Problem", " Indulge In Color ", "And Yet" and "New Year's Day"

| 4.0 excellent | Xenorazr | October 16th 20 | Tom Englund sounds better here than he has on anything with Evergrey. This album also feels like a breath of fresh air after how the stagnant ordeal that was The Art of Loss.
Bump |
| 1.5 very poor | DoctorVelvet | August 3rd 18 | Bad in all the ways bad prog metal is in 2018. Boring,
cliched, derivative, uninspired, lazy, sorry excuse for a
record. Despite never having any claim to originality,
Redemption were once a band that cut through the mire of
an endless sea of contemporaries by offering a heavy-
hitting, yet emotive brand of prog metal with a
remarkable penchant for melody and grounded song-writing.
That Redemption is not the Redemption featured on this
album. Instead we have a Redemption chasing its own tail,
so caught in its own formula, uninterested in playing a
single note off the beaten path.
This is an album that makes no statement. It's redundancy
distilled to its purest form. Abysmal.

| 4.0 excellent | dante1991 | July 30th 18 | Best Redemption since Snowfall. Sits comfortably in the top 3 with that and The Fullness of Time.rWas initially a bit thrown off with the first single Little Men (probably the weakest song here), but really like Tom's voice now I've heard the full thing. True, it doesn't reinvent the prog metal wheel, but the material is so strong it doesn't matter.
