3.5 great | Panzerchrist | July 16th 18 | A solid if homogeneous effort. It maintains its veracity throughout with tight, razor sharp riffs and one of the best vocal performances of the young band's career, but you can't help but feel fatigue set in towards the halfway point. Each song exists in the same tempo, and SoR sees the band tone down on some of their proggier tendencies as well, so some of the songs end up feeling more aggressive, but less interesting as a result. Still a solid effort, but definitely not as potent as their last offering.
