0.0 | bastard | October 5th 08 | The Demonstealer is the frontman of Demonic Resurrection, and he thinks he has the "it" power to hold a solo album together. Does he? Not at all. Sure there are some good songs on this album (mainly the first track and “A Solitary Mass of Flesh”), but other than that this album is boring, really boring, More boring than Serj Tankian solo album boring. Despite the short length of many of the songs, they repeat themselves way too much, and just drag out. The material on the album is also very try, and the little electronics added on the album for that extra “+1” boost doesn’t do anything, just continues to tick off the listener as the album pushes it self forward. At first I really liked this album, and now I really want to like this album. It just drags itself on and forever, and while The Demonstealer is a good vocalist, he doesn’t have the sheer power in his voice or the musical talent to hold an album together at all. Other than some nice clean vocals, and maybe a song or two, I can’t really recommend this album to anyone except the best of fans of his old band Demonic Resurrection, and even then, they should be a bit bored by this little piece of crap.
